Trend Micro Common Client Communication Service has encountered a problem

2 users this morning have come in to find this error on their PC's (see attached for full error).  We are using Trend Officescan 10.

1 user states it has happened at least 4 times today.  I have checked in event viewer on the users PC and got the following in the Application Log:

What is the build number of your OSCE 10?

You may log in to the Web Console and go to HELP > ABOUT to check the build number.

Hello. In our organisation in last few days we got that same error on several computers. When that happens there is also pop up window with text 

Trend Micro Common Client Communication Service has encountered a problem and needs to close. 

 

Officescan version is the same as above.

RESOLVED!!!

 

Trend have a patch that is Patch 1867.  We installed this last night and no users experiencing any issues.

 

You may need to contact Trend to get the patch, we got it from our supplier.

Dear Support,

 

I am having the same issue.

 

Version: 10.0 Service Pack 1

Build: 1736

 

I have donwloaded the lastest patch and installed.

 

Version: 10.0 Service Pack 1

Build: 1895

 

But the error still persisted. So far the others workstations are working fine but I am the only one who got this error message.
