We are having a problem on 10 Officescan 10.0 sp1 clients.
These clients are downloading new pattern files, but are not deleting old ones. Further in the console management these 10 clients are listed as outdated under "Client update status".
All the clients has the current pattern file under c:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Officescan client\. In the clients "Component version" the latest pattern file is several months old.
This applies to Smart Scan Agent Pattern, IntelliTrap Pattern & IntelliTrap Exception Pattern.
Any idea how to fix this?

from tmudump i can see that the client is doing update properly. tmwhite , tmblack are updated properly. Could you please tell me who is 10.47.18.210 - is it your control manager - and is the control manager updating properly ?

Hi, yes that IP is the manager (1 of 2). We have 299 clients, but only 10 (now 7) with update problems. I noticed that a reboot solves this, but since these are production servers I do not want any downtime if I can help it.

Just after Patches etc, where basic components are updated, a reboot is required. But additionally i noticed that Windows 2000 systems are more affected by update issues. Could you post your os version ? Might it be windows 2000 ?
