Somehow, this was downloaded onto my computer. Trend Micro keeps popping up with different .dll files infected. I have performed scans by several different virus software companies, including Trend and none of them can delete this. I followed the help on the TrendMicro encyclopedia to look at the Registry, but I can't see anything to simply delete. I am traveling on business. I am not a computer expert, and this is my work laptop which I need to repair before I take back to work. HELP!

Does anyone have an easy fix to this TROJ_ZACCESS.CQJ "virus". Trend Micro keeps resolving and then requiring restart. This is getting rather annoying. Maybe Kaspersky or another Antivirus program can get rid of this annoying "virus".
The only thing this is affecting is Trend Micro constantly telling me to Restart my computer and logging this TROJ every few minutes.
Quick fix Gurus where are you?

I should add that I read some of the other posts and saw that MALWAREKILLER requested 3 logs, and then I posted them on the 2nd reply. I sure hope someone can help me out.

Hello you 2.
@Ronwinfield and Tonyk :
Be patient. This is a public forum and there is only 1 person, Malwarekiller, quallified to search and give solutions to all of our problems. That's a lot of volonteer-work. As you can see from the many posts about it, the malware you suffer pops up a lot lately.
The Trend Micro employees sometimes answer to but they do that in their free time. If you want help from an employee you should use different Trend Micro support-channels.
Please read the sticky on top of this forum, " **Read Me before posting** ". Post your Trend Micro loffile + any other logfile from the Trend Microscans you think are nessesary from those listed in that 1st sticky. If problems persist make & post a HiJackThis log. You can find the downloadlink for HiJackThis in the next sticky "Trend Micro Free Computer Security Health Tools".
@ Ronwinfield :
Even if it seems to be the same malware, it can manifest in different ways on diferent computers. I hope Ronwinfield did not use any commandlines given by Malwarekiller in other threads, as they might be customized to that specific computer.
@ Tonyk :
Please start a thread of your own, don't hijack some-one elses thread. Again, even if it seems to be the same malware, it can manifest in different ways on diferent computers. Besides it's confusing, especially since there's only Malwarekiller who takes time to adress our problems.

Thanks for the response. I try not to hit the panic button too much, but I was hitting it fast and furious when this annoying virus dumped onto my system ![]()
I noticed that the comments said fixes were computer specific, so I did not do any of the fixes. I did download malwarebytes and ran a scan and it found 6 objects. My computer has been running for a bit without another TrendMicro "popup" telling me another .dll file was infected, but we will see.

And right on cue, the TrendMicro pop up telling me I have an infected .dll file from this virus just popped up. I still need help!!
If I need to run new logs due to having run malwarebytes inbetween, please let me know.

MALWAREKILLER - thank you for getting back to me so soon!
I ran OTD with the script you gvae me, and I thought I saved it, but now, I can't find the file. I am going to try the 2nd step now, sorry about that.

OK - I may have screwed up. I downloaded combofix, then it disappeared and the computer froze. I paniced and shut down the computer. Now it won't let me reload combofix.
On the plus side, I have not had any of "pop ups" from TrendMicro telling me I have an infected dll file.
Let me know how to proceed. I am going to shut this computer down and check back from a different one until I hear back. Thank you again for helping a novice like me ![]()
