Thank you Simonn and Malwarekiller for all of the help. I downloaded Rkill from CNET and begin to run my trend mirco and malware killer programs. Trend micro then picked up a few other trojans that had been in programs on our secondary drive and our backup drive, as well as our C drive - programs/downloads that had been there for over a year or more. It also picked up some other malware.
After rebooting, I ran two more virus and malware killer scans and it didn't pick anything else up. And now my computer is back to working normal, its running fast again, and when I do scans every day it hasn't picked anything new up or recurring, and is blocking things like it is supposed to.
