Hello all:
Today I received 2 emails addressed to me and sent from me (my name and email address). These emails were titled 'It's amazing' and 'Hello'. Each email had a different link that it suggested I follow for more information, etc. (I didn't).
Obviously, I did not generate these emails. What generated these? Is it a significant problem? How do I clean out the offending virus or bot or whatever.
I ran my trend micro (full scan). Everything was OK - no problems, zero cookies. I put these emails in the spam folder (thought afterwards that maybe I should not have done that - but my email account seems OK - am still receiving emails).
Any ideas, thoughts, and information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
