Flash jitter when TM Proxy enabled

Hi,

 

We experienced YouTube jitter and slows. We're on fast (for Oz) cable, i7 desktop wired to modem router. Using Trend Micro Internet Security v17.5

 

We tried different resolutions of flash. Minimal network activity. However tmproxy.exe was using more CPU than firefox, which was doing the rendering.

 

Then we turned off "Protection against Web Threats" and smooth YouTube was restored. I did not try moving Protection Strength from medium to low as my wife was annoyed enough as it was :-)

 

Why is it so?
