I just installed Trend Micro Titanium Internet security a few days ago.. It has slowed my computer down drastically. It is doing it now as I type this. I had regular trend micro protection for a while and was very pleased. I liked the other features of the internet security, but now it is hard to do anything on the computer. Can you help/ I have windows XP and DSL Thanks

Hi bobhart,
I understand that eversince you installed the Trend Micro Program, your computer runs very slow.
First of, there are lots of reason why the computer runs slow and one of them is a conflicting software, second is malware, but before we jump into the conclusion I need to further check the state of the computer so that we can fix this.
Before I continue helping you with this case, plese generate a system information so that I could check what do you have in your computer that makes it run slow.
Please click the link below to check the step by step procedure in generating a system information log file.

Hi,
I have checked on the specs of your computer and found the following:
Total Physical Memory 512.00 MB
Available Physical Memory 115.03 MB
Although it was able to meet the minimum requirements, we still suggest to have more than what is suggested for better performance. I woould personally suggest that you add up more memory on your computer. I have also checked on your log file and found no conflicts.
You can refer to this link for more info on the system requirements:

Hope this helps.
