Does anyone know what the requirements are for synchronizing with a Active Directory? I am using the Userid/Password StartTLS with port 389. Firewalls have been disabled. It says the username and password are invalid. I have tried several domain level admin accounts and none of them work.

Did you use domain\user as the username? It took me a few tries to figure that out.

Yes, I already tried that I am getting an LDAP error connecting to AD.

Check that your AD TLS settings are ok .. 

Try connecting without TLS ..

It only has two options either through 389 or 636. Where do I check the AD TLS settings? I can use ldp.exe on the DC via 389 and no issues.
