Hi,
I am Myshu, new user on this forum and new Trend Micro user.
I recently decide to use trend micro antivirus for all my clients and I started a test of an evaluation copy of WFBS on a network of 50 users.
I install successfully the server and the client agents.
My main problem since 15 days is how to get my virus signatures up to date.
Everytime where I tried manual update there is always errors even for signature and componants.
The update source remain the default one.
I don't know if there is no possibility to update evluation version.
I post this message to receive help from you.

A trial version should be 100% functional for the period of the trial, including getting pattern updates.
If you have been trying for FIFTEEN DAYS to get it to work, you may want to re-think your "I recently decide to use trend micro antivirus for all my clients" statement.

That sentence is just to say I am a new user of trend micro.
Can you help me giving me a download source address?
What I have here is http://iau.trendmicro.com/iau_server.dll
When I initiate update, the response is :
THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE SOURCE ADDRESS

Since i installed the WFBS Advanced 7, I can't access the Trend Micro website and any other website of Trend Micro.
I don't know if that can be the case of download failure.

What I mean is, are you sure you want to use a program with which you have had trouble for 15 days? Do you really want to use it on all your clients?

Yesterday I made a new experience which can help understanding my problem.
I installed a new evaluation copy of WFBS on a computer running Windows XP SP3 and update run correctly.
My fisrt computer is running Windows 2003 R2 with Microsoft Ative Directory on it.
I check all the main port
HTTP: 8059
SSL: 4343 and 4345
I put all internet explorer security level to low, but any time when I launch update, the error message is :"Error in network source".
If there is a response to my case, do not hesitate.
If not, can you show me how to change update path of CSA from client computer?
It will help me pointed the client security agents to the new server I installed

Do you have a firewall or proxy in place that might be causing the update to fail?
