Install crashes due to Windows\temp folder being read only

I have installed worry free business security V7 on a number of computers in the office but one laptop refuses the install showing a message cant install as windows\temp folder is read only.  It seems impossible to change this folder from read only.  The laptop is running Vista and is probably the cleanest laptop in the place!  Any help appreciated!

Hi kymteusner,

 

 

Windows\temp folder being read only could be because of Local policy. But you can change the read only attribute of the folder for the mean time while you are installing WFBS v.7. The installation needs write access to the Windows\temp folder to store temporary files and its installation logs.
